This Privacy Policy explains what information the Melomelo mobile game ("the app", "we") handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

The app has no account system and no server of its own.
Your game progress is stored only on your device.
Photos you use in the "Custom Faces" feature never leave your device.
The only third-party data processing comes from Google AdMob, which serves the ads shown in the app.

2. Information stored on your device only

The following data is created by the app and saved locally on your device. We cannot access it, and it is never transmitted anywhere:

Game progress: scores, coins, boosters, mission levels, stars, unlocked skins and icons
Settings: sound, music, haptics, language
Custom face photos: images you pick from your gallery or camera are cropped and saved in the app's private storage on your device

Deleting the app (or using Android's Clear storage) permanently removes all of this data. Because we never receive your data, we cannot delete it for you — and there is nothing for us to delete.

3. Information collected by third-party services

Google AdMob (advertising)

The app displays ads served by Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google may collect and process:

Device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
IP address and coarse location derived from it
Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Diagnostic data about the ad SDK

This data is collected by Google under its own policies:

We do not receive this data ourselves; we only receive aggregate, non-identifying reports (e.g., total ad revenue).

4. Your choices and controls

Consent (EEA/UK): if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a consent dialog is shown before any ad is loaded. You can change your decision at any time in Settings → Privacy & ad consent inside the app.
Ad personalization: you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
Remove your data: uninstall the app or use Android's Clear storage.

5. Permissions the app requests

Photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded.

6. Children's privacy

The app is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Ads are served in accordance with Google Play's Families ad policies where applicable. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, contact us and we will help — though note the app itself transmits no personal data.

7. Data security

The app transmits no gameplay or personal data. The only network traffic is ad serving, which occurs over encrypted (HTTPS) connections managed by Google.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy (for example, when adding in-app purchases or online leaderboards in a future update), the new version will be published at this same address with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's update notes.
